Shared Ecologies brings forward a film screening of ‘Three Characters in Search of a Forest (2020)’ and conversation with Krishnendu Bose. It is a documentary film about the ancient Ridge Forest, that lays scattered as a patchwork of forests across Delhi-NCR today. Told through three people who have based parts of their lives on the forest help unpack the living history of the forest. We catch a glimpse into civilian efforts to retain the wealth, knowledge and ecosystem of the ancient forest, where governing systems and response have been inadequate.
